Student Absence Request
Appointments during the academy day should be avoided unless they are for urgent medical reasons such as hospital or orthodontist appointments.
To request authorised absence for these types of appointments, parents or carers must:
- Complete the absence request form
- Email the form to absencerequest@hafsacademy.org.uk or hand it in directly to reception
- Provide evidence of the appointment (e.g., a letter or appointment confirmation)
- Submit the request at least 48 hours in advance of the appointment
Absence request forms are available for download via the academy website or can be collected from reception by the parent/carer or student.
